On Monday, AFC start there new season in the Premiership after retaining their place in the top division last week. AFC Olympia was only established 6 weeks ago and having been given a place in the Premiership at Woking Leisure Centre, it was given the 2 points total of a recently deceased club with 4 games to go in the season. A first win in the first game was enough for AFC to stay up.
This means that AFC are in the top division for Monday's clash with rivals CPR. Last time the sides met was just 2 weeks ago with CPR coming out on top 9-6 in a blood thirsty affair. James Frudd picked up a head injury after a controversial inciden where a CPR player thrusted Frudd against the side railings leaving him blood dripping down his face.
Olympia are looking for a top half finish this season after having finished two places behind the top 4 this season. Way seems adament that his side will acheive their goal: "As the great Jose Mourinho said, you cannot judge us after one season, come back after the second and you will see".
What is the prediction for Monday's clash? Do you think AFC will achieve their goals? Have your say, join the debate on our Discussion page.
